A damning report has slammed English cricket as ‘racist, sexist and elitist.‘ One person who is really enraged by these very troubling findings is Nigel Farage.
“On behalf of the ECB and wider leadership of the game, I apologise unreservedly to anyone who has ever been excluded from cricket or made to feel like they don’t belong,” Richard Thompson, chair of the England and Wales Cricket Board, said in a statement.
“Racism, class-based discrimination, elitism and sexism are widespread and deep rooted. The game must face up to the fact that it’s not banter or just a few bad apples.”
Cricket racist? Farage responds
ECB chairman Richard Thompson said the organization would “use this moment to reset cricket.”
“On behalf of the ECB and wider leadership of the game, I apologizee unreservedly to anyone who has ever been excluded from cricket or made to feel like they don’t belong,” he said.
“Cricket should be a game for everyone, and we know that this has not always been the case.”
Cricket racist
In general, when Nige is on your side, you know you’ve done wrong.
He shared is anger in a video and wrote: “The latest report into English Cricket concludes the game is “racist, sexist and classist”. Behind this nonsense is a loathing for our country, our culture and who we are. Even the Barmy Army come under extreme criticism… Leave our sport alone!”
Oh and this happened as well to poor Nige!!!
