Michael Gove has admitted taking even more drugs, now it is smoking weed.
He has already admitted he took cocaine: “I took drugs on several occasions at social events more than 20 years ago,” he told the Daily Mail. “At the time I was a young journalist. It was a mistake. I look back and I think, I wish I hadn’t done that.”
During his time at Oxford University he was also a naughty boy.
Mr Gove told a Times Radio podcast: “Yes, I did”, saying they were a “feature of the student experience for a lot of people”.
Gove said: “Without wanting to get too much into the policy of it, I think that the type of cannabis, marijuana that is available now will often have a far higher THC content a far higher capacity to cause harm.”

Now in an opinion piece in the i by Eliot Wilson claims the new and improved Michael Gove 2.0 will emerge victorious, he writes: “Nevertheless, when the dust settles, I think he will be seen as one of the most important figures of the Conservative period in government.”

Incinerator plan
A plan to build a waste incinerator in a County Durham town has been refused by the secretary of state.
The proposed facility at Hownsgill Industrial Park in Consett had faced an appeal following Durham County Council’s refusal.
However, a report published on behalf of Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove said the appeal had been dismissed, reports The BBC.
