Today Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer asked two protesters holding a banner saying “Green New Deal now” to “let me finish” as they interrupted his speech.
He told the pair he would “speak to you after” as they accused of him of U-turning on his £28bn green prosperity plan, before being led off stage by security.
Starmer heckled
Starmer is really not a fan of Just Stop Oil’s protests.
He said: “On Just Stop Oil… they need to just stop”
Keir said recent recent protests show a “huge arrogance involved, that they’re the only people that understand the argument”
Mick Lynch
“Do you have confidence in Keir Starmer?” Mick Lynch was asked by Robert Peston, and his reply pulled no punched.
Lynch said: “I don’t have confidence in him”
He was then asked: “Do you agree that the left is being purged from the Labour Party?”
Mick then replied: “The left is being purged.”
The RMT union boss said he will act to prevent Keir Starmer “delivering the agenda of the Daily Mail or the Telegraph”.

Agree with this?
“A very clear message from Mick Lynch, one I happen to agree with. Lord M should to be sent on his bike, the right wing faction of the LP need to be held to account and Labour have to remember who they were formed by and their purpose. Which is not to be pale blue, but true red.”
