Gary Lineker made a climate change comment that has got the climate sceptics backs-up.
It comes as a arch-Brexiteer Lord Frost a climate sceptic, thinks it will be great for the UK if it is real.
Gary Lineker climate change
Gary tweeted: “Always difficult to know whether to trust in the knowledge of leading climate scientists or some bloke who’s seen something on YouTube.”
Lord Frost
In the most selfish take on global warming Lord Frost said rising temperatures are “likely to be beneficial” for Britain as more people die of cold than heat in this country, Lord Frost said.
Accepting climate change might be real he said that the government should move away from high-cost mitigation efforts.
It seems, if it is real, then the UK will have great weather and if it isn’t real then spending any money on it is pointless, in Frost’s mind.
What about everyone else?
Frost seemingly isn’t that bothered, as he made these comments as as Greece’s capital, Athens, is dealing with its hottest July in half a century.
Other parts of southern Europe are literally burning as the heat has caused wildfires.
Peter Stefanovic responded writing: “Latest update from the man who said Brexit would be beneficial for Britain..”
Dead pilots
Two pilots died after their plane that was spraying water over a wildfire in southern Greece crashed on Tuesday, as fire crews continued to battle blazes across southern Europe, reported The Evening Standard.
34-year-old Commander Christos Moulas and his co-pilot, 27-year-old Pericles Stefanidis, were the names of the two pilots who tragically died.
Authorities are still trying to evacuate Britons on the fire-ravaged island of Rhodes, as the island continues to burn.
