Edwina Currie has slammed Carol Voderman, after the former Countdown star was accused of attacking members of the Tory party.
Appearing on GB News, Edwina was asked for her thoughts on Carol’s role at the BBC by host Dan Wootton, given her tweets. “I do have a problem with Carol,” admitted the ex-Junior Health Minister.
The former politician then suggested that Carol should be more respectful when she disagrees with someone and consider that the other person could have a point. “You treat people with some respect. You try and show other people how to behave,” Edwina added.
Unpleasant
“She’s doing completely the opposite. So much of what she’s saying is so unpleasant and so nasty and so directed at the individual and not the policy that you think, ‘Oh, come on, you’re going overboard.”
Here she is!
Edwina Currie slams Carol Voderman
This response was echoed by a LOT of people with a similar theme as the one below.
This particular tweet read: “I don’t think @carolvorders needs lectures on morality from a woman who was busy getting knobbed by John Major behind his wife’s back.”
And there is this from Jonathan Pie, he wrote: “Things Edwina Currie said during her time as Junior Health Minister: ”Good Christian people don’t get AIDS” Old people who can’t afford their heating bills should “wear woolly hats” She also once stated that cervical cancer was the result of ‘screwing around’ Lovely woman.”
The there is this (p*ss) take…
