The young-adult series The Summer I Turned Pretty season three will be back on Amazon, as a third series will be created by the media behemoth, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Season three of Summer was greenlit ahead of both the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Production on the new season will not begin until after both the writers and performers strikes have been resolved.
Background
The coming-of-age drama centres around the changing relationships for Isabel ‘Belly’ Conklin (Lola Tung) with her childhood friends, brothers Jeremiah and Conrad Fisher (Dalíland‘s Christopher Briney and The Vampire Diaries’ Gavin Casalegno), as they become teenagers and deal with the changes in their lives and relationships.

The show will be back for ten episodes overall.
