Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has been called, out over fresh Brexit claims, by filmmaker Peter Stefanovic.
Brexit freedoms?
Back In January Jeremy Hunt said the U.K.’s new long-term economic plan is “necessitated, energized and made possible” by post-Brexit freedoms.
Hunt said that the regulatory freedoms would be the “catalyst” for the Chancellor’s plan and that he wanted to “take advantage of the nimbleness and flexibility” made possible by Brexit.
“Solvency II reforms, which are only possible because of regulatory possibilities not available inside the EU, will unlock potentially £100 billion of investment into the industries represented by people in this room,” Hunt said.
“In the end, Brexit is a choice, it’s an opportunity and we can make it an incredible success, and I believe we will.”

Food Checks
Also, Post-Brexit checks on fresh farm produce coming to the UK from the EU have been delayed again.
New import controls on EU food products had been due to begin in October.
There is concern that the extra checks on imported goods will push up prices and fuel inflation.
Jeremy Hunt Brexit
Peter shared his new video and wrote: “The Chancellor has given an interview in which he denies Brexit is at least partly responsible for the the UK’s stubbornly high inflation compared to the US & eurozone Not only is that patently untrue – by denying it he’s insulting the publics intelligence. Watch in disbelief.”
