Harry Kane Bayern Munich are the words on all football fans lips. You also wonder what Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer makes of it?
The proposed transfer from the Bundesliga side, which is believed to be worth more than €100m (£86.4m), was accepted by Spurs.
If Kane decides to go then the 30-year-old will find Alan Shearer’s premier league scoring record even harder to reach.
Harry Kane Alan Shearer
Alan Shearer scored 260 goals in 411 games, while Kane has 213 goals from 320 games.
So why might Shearer not be rubbing his hands today?
Well, there might well be a buy back option for Spurs.
Or indeed Kane could return to another Premier League club in 2-3 seasons and leave himself 2 maybe 3 seasons to also take Shearer’s crown.
While playing for Bayern he is likely to take the German title and the German giants are always one of the top sides battling to win the Champions League.
Will he go?
Spurs supporters sang “we want you to stay” during Sunday’s 5-1 friendly victory over Shakhtar Donetsk – new manager Ange Postecoglou’s first home game in charge – in which Kane scored four times, reports SkySports.
Harry could still stay, but at this stage it is rare for a player to then back down. However, Jamie Vardy did the same after Leicester won the league and an agreement was made to sell him to Arsenal.
Vardy, to this day, is still playing for the East Midlands club.

Shearer, Richards and Lineker also have a new podcast. It is well worth a listen.
