Amber Heard has made her return to film since her world famous trial with Johnny Depp.
Her new film ‘In the Fire,’ is paranormal psychological thriller. The world premier was at the 69th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily, recently.
The pitch goes that: “Amber Heard stars as a doctor who travels to a remote plantation to treat a young boy who demonstrates unusual abilities. The local priest (Eduardo Noriega), however, believes the boy is possessed and doesn’t believe conventional medicine can help him.”
Heard discussed the film with Variety and described it as “a meditation on the almost supernatural powers of love told through a strong-willed and independent woman at the turn of the 20th century.”
“I feel honored to be part of this labor of love and to be the lead in [director] Conor Allyn’s vision,” she wrote. “I feel lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing cast. They’re as dedicated and magical as the characters they play.”
As you can see below there are also rumours that another of her projects has been put on the backbench.
Johnny Depp
At the same time Johnny Depp has returned as the face of Dior.
Dior on Instagram, the French luxury brand said, “Bold and powerful, in his essence, his truth, embodies the soul of Sauvage,” calling Depp “fearless.”
