Crystal Lake is finally moving forward following a legal battle over production rights.
The legal battle was between producer Sean Cunningham and screenwriter Victor Miller, both of whom claimed to own the rights to Friday the 13th, reported Collider.
Victor Miller and his attorney Marc Toberoff won the US rights to the original film’s screenplay, following the protracted battle.
So, somehow this has been sorted out, which seems to be a rarity in the world of rights claims!
