Rishi Sunak has been community noted on X (formerly Twitter) three times in 24 hours, as people have called out his claims.
James Cleverly
It comes as James Cleverly has failed to deny calling Rwanda deportation policy ‘batshit’ in private, reports The Guardian.
Asked about the comment on Sky News, he replied: “I don’t recognise that phrase.”
He was asked AGAIN on BBC breakfast and you can see he didn’t find the question any easier to answer.
Rishi Sunak community noted
What is a community note?
According to X Community noted account…”Sometimes a note appears on a post after you’ve seen it. To help, Community Notes sends notifications to people who have engaged with a post that later receives a note. We’ve now scaled it up to handle even the most visible and highly-engaged posts, so more of you will be (and are already) seeing these.”
Also this…”Thank you to the many contributors who are helping to keep people around the world better informed about the events unfolding. Collectively, notes across the platform are now being seen tens of millions of times per day, generating north of 85 million impressions in the last week. Notes are appearing more quickly and on far more posts than they were just weeks ago. Over the past week, we made several improvements that help show notes on images and videos on more posts with matching media. In fact, some individual notes are matching hundreds of posts and some singular notes are being seen over 1M times. We’ve also ramped up notifications to people who Like, Repost or Reply to a post that then later has a Community Note added to it. And during peaks of the ramp up, we were sending nearly 1000 notifications per second. Welcome to the thousands of new contributors who joined this week. And if you’re not yet signed up and would like to help – thank you.”
As you can see Rishi Sunak has been pulled up three times in 24 hours.
