American Pie 5 could be happening and it has got people excited and taking out their happiness in their own special ways…
American Pie 5
Actor Seann William Scott has revealed that there is now “a great idea” floating around for a further American Pie sequel.
Speaking with Comicbook.com, Scott declared that they have a plan for American Pie 5, and that the idea behind it is so good it will even work within these “tough” comedic times.
He said: “You know, comedy is tough, and they have always been tough, but you know, comedies have really changed. But I think, honestly, we have been talking about an idea. I had one and I still have one that we’ve literally just recently started talking about.
“It would be so much fun to see, I think. Fun, but also really fascinating to see a guy like Stifler in his mid-forties today trying to figure things out.
A guy who hasn’t really changed that much, but the world has changed, you know, what would his life be like? Is there a fun end to a story? I don’t know if it’ll ever happen.”
American Pie 5 could see the light in 2024 or 2025, meaning over 10 years will have passed since American Reunion, as it happened with it and American Wedding.
History of American Pie
“American Pie” is a teen sex comedy film series that began with the release of the first film in 1999. The franchise, created by Adam Herz, became popular for its raunchy humor and depiction of the experiences of a group of friends as they navigate high school and later stages of life. The main series consists of four theatrical films:
American Pie (1999): Directed by Paul Weitz, this is the film that started it all. It follows a group of high school friends who make a pact to lose their virginity by prom night. The movie became a cultural phenomenon and is known for its iconic scenes, including the infamous pie scene.
American Pie 2 (2001): Directed by J.B. Rogers, this sequel follows the main characters during their summer break after the first year of college. It explores their relationships and attempts at romantic and sexual escapades.
American Wedding (2003): Directed by Jesse Dylan, this film revolves around the marriage of Jim (played by Jason Biggs) and Michelle (played by Alyson Hannigan). The characters reunite for the wedding, leading to various comedic situations.
American Reunion (2012): Directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, this installment brings the original characters back together for their high school reunion. It explores how their lives have evolved since the events of the first three films.
