The judge ruled there “can be no doubt” that he knew about the practice while he was running the editorial side of the newspaper.
The TalkTV presenter said Friday’s judgment found there was “just one article relating to Prince Harry” which involved phone hacking during his editorship.
Piers added he “never hacked a phone” while editor or told anyone else to – and added he had “yet to produce evidence”.

Morgan said he was not asked to “provide a statement” to the court, and was “not able to respond” to accusations from “old foes with an axe to grind”.
The Duke of Sussex has been awarded substantial damages after the judge found his phone had indeed been hacked.
