A Suella Braverman prank was pretty funny and it has a lot of similarities to a scene from The Thick of It.
She was was duped by Channel 4’s Last Leg show.
Braverman was persuaded into accepting a comedy show’s “D*ck of the Year” award while launching a small boat in her constituency.
The cheeky lot invited the Tory MP to officially launch “Fareham Fishing” – a fake angling company – as a part of the programme.
Suella Braverman Prank
Braverman, unaware, accepted the invitation from two YouTube pranksters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners.
As she cuts a ribbon, the two pranksters unveil a sign saying, ‘The Last Leg’s D*ck of the Year 2023, Suella Braverman.’
The Thick of It
We are not saying the copied this scene from the political comedy, where incompetent MP Nicola Murray ended up standing next to signage, which read ‘I am Bent’, as she stood at a certain angle for the TV cameras.
UK economy ‘limping
According to KPMG, Britain’s growth in 2024 will be modest, at best, reports The Guardian.
The accountancy giant’s latest global economic outlook, that was released only this morning, cautions that the UK economy is “limping with a sprained ankle”, at at time when global growth is being held back by high interest rates and policy uncertainty.
KPMG estimates UK GDP will rise by 0.5% in 2024, the same as in 2023, picking up to 1% in 2025.
