Marvel axes Jonathan Majors after a jury has found him guilty of a serious crime.
Majors was found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend.
Majors, 34, was convicted on two counts but acquitted of a different assault charge and of aggravated harassment.
British ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, a 30-year-old dancer, accused Majors of an attack inside a vehicle that left her in “excruciating” pain, reports Sky News.

A star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Majors featured in the series Loki, and Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania.
He was set to lead the next Avengers film, but has seen his career scuppered following the verdict.
A spokesperson for the Disney-owned film studio said the actor would no longer appear in future projects.
Will he go to jail?
The actor has maintained his innocence throughout, but now faces up to one year in jail after his conviction by a jury in New York on Monday. A judge will sentence Majors on 6 February.

Some of Jonathan Majors’ notable works include his performance in the films “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” (2019) and “Da 5 Bloods” (2020). He also starred in the HBO series “Lovecraft Country,” which premiered in 2020.
