Bloody Disgusting received an exclusive first look at Pinocchio: Unstrung, along with the accompanying title treatment, in a teaser released this afternoon. The preview offers audiences a glimpse into the nightmarish world crafted by the filmmakers, further expanding on the eerie universe they’ve created.
Interestingly, the drawing showcased above is not directly from Pinocchio: Unstrung but serves as a sneak peek into what awaits viewers in the credits of the upcoming Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. The producers hinted at the expansion of the twisted universe, stating that “Unannounced characters from the universe will be revealed in sketch drawings in the closing credits of Pooh 2, so keep an eye out!”
While the director and cast of Pinocchio: Unstrung are yet to be unveiled, the producers assured that announcements are imminent. The film is scheduled to commence production in the upcoming summer, with a theatrical release anticipated in late 2024.
