Tottenham Hotspur are at it again in transfer market.
By this we mean not achieving much of anything.
Now their bid to sign Pedro Porro appears to have collapsed despite himhaving a medical scheduled for today, reports The Times.
It is thought that the club had met the full asking price of £39.5 million.
However Sporting have refused to sign off a final agreement over administration fees.
Final whistle
The Portuguese club wants Tottenham to pay about £2.6 million to cover the cost of payment methods to administer the deal.
Porro appeared to wave goodbye to the club’s fans after the final whistle. He has agreed a Tottenham contract until 2028, doubling his wage.
Also, Manchester City are entitled to 30 per cent of the profit on the deal due a sell-on clause included in Porro’s transfer from the Etihad to Sporting, which has been calculated as £9.7 million.
But he might well not arrive in North London.
On talkSPORT Jamie O’Hara gave his assesment of Levy who “needs to get out of Tottenham”, according to the club’s ex-midfielder.
“If that’s the case, Daniel Levy needs to get out of Tottenham, seriously,” O’Hara went on, getting very angry!.
