Elon Musk: tech genius, billionaire, space enthusiast, and… Nazi sympathiser? Not quite, according to Dr Low, a former friend and colleague of the Tesla CEO. In a scathing LinkedIn post, Dr Low delivered a takedown of Musk that’s equal parts brutal and brilliant.
The Backstory
Dr Low claims to have known Musk “at a deep level for 14 years, well before he was a household name.” The two shared a bond over their unique experiences, texting frequently and even attending each other’s parties. But things have clearly soured since then.
Recently, Musk has been under fire for performing Nazi salutes at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration and supporting far-right figures like Tommy Robinson. Many have accused him of being a Nazi sympathiser, but Dr Low says it’s not that simple.
‘Not a Nazi, But Worse’
“Elon is not a Nazi, per se,” Dr Low wrote. “He is something much better, or much worse, depending on how you look at it.”
According to Dr Low, Musk’s real issue isn’t ideology – it’s ego. “Nazis believed that an entire race was above everyone else. Elon believes he is above everyone else.”
He explained that Musk’s transformation from a humble collaborator to a self-proclaimed genius has been stark. “When I met him, he did not presume to be a technical person… Now, he believes he has all the solutions.”
The Power Play
Dr Low didn’t stop there. He accused Musk of manipulating people to consolidate power. “Everything Elon does is about acquiring and consolidating power,” he wrote. “That is why he likes far-right parties – because they are easier to control.”
He also took aim at Musk’s business practices, claiming the billionaire prioritised his own wealth over his employees. “He gave himself $56 billion, which could have gone to the people actually doing the work and innovations he’s taking credit for at Tesla.”
The Rivalries
Dr Low, the founder of NeuroVigil, revealed that Musk’s hunger for power led him to create rivals to companies he couldn’t control. “He did xAI and Neuralink to compete with OpenAI and NeuroVigil, respectively,” he said. “I fired him with cause in December 2021 when he tried to undermine NV.”
The Nazi Salutes Explained
Dr Low didn’t shy away from addressing Musk’s controversial Nazi salutes, offering five possible reasons behind the gesture. These included Musk’s fear of being sidelined by the “Nazi wing” of the MAGA movement and his desire to reclaim power.
“This has nothing to do with Asperger’s,” Dr Low added, shutting down any attempts to explain Musk’s behaviour through his neurodivergence.

The Bottom Line
Love him or loathe him, Elon Musk is one of the most polarising figures of our time. But according to Dr Low, the real Musk isn’t a Nazi – he’s a man obsessed with power, control, and his own superiority. Whether that’s better or worse is up to you to decide.
