The trailer for Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch has finally landed — and yes, it’s every bit as adorable as you’d hope.
It might feel like it’s too soon to be remaking the 2002 animated classic, but let’s face it — 2002 was over 20 years ago. A whole new generation of kids will soon be begging their parents to take them to see Lilo & Stitch on the big screen. Feeling old yet?
Stitch Crashes Into Lilo’s Life
The trailer gives us a first look at how Stitch ends up on Earth and meets Lilo, a lonely but utterly loveable little girl. Stitch, with his mix of chaos and cuteness, quickly steals the show.
Together, Lilo and Stitch discover the meaning of Ohana — because, as we all know, Ohana means family. And family means nobody gets left behind.
Of course, it’s not all smooth sailing. There are some shady characters trying to capture Stitch and ruin the fun. Courtney B. Vance plays one of the baddies in a sharp suit — and honestly, he looks like he’s having a great time doing it.
