The announcement was announced on Instagram by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence with the message “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!” The following video shows Smith making his way to Lawrence’s home to celebrate the announcement.
The two express their affection for one another before Smith exclaims,”It’s official! Bad Boys 4 Life, baby!”
They then lightheartedly admit that the third Bad Boys movie was titled Bad Boys for Life and that, given the impending release of the fourth feature, they probably shouldn’t have.
Even though they said it was named Bad Boys 4 Life, the movie has no official name as of yet.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who directed the third and fourth instalments of Bad Boys for Life, will return for this fourth instalment, while Chris Bremner will pen the story, according to Sony Pictures.
The fact that the movie is now in pre-production was also confirmed.
