The PM Rishi Sunak has been accused of “willy waving” over plans to remove UK from the European Convention on Human Rights (EHRC) in an attempted crackdown on illegal migration.
Jackie Doyle-Price, the Thurrock MP who was a minister under Liz Truss and Theresa May, said ‘willy-waving about leaving the ECHR will do zilch’.
She added: ‘This group leaves me cold. Upholding the law should never be a matter for debate for a Conservative.
‘Our Home Office is crap. If the government wants to have a phone[y] war over the ECHR instead of sorting itself out it can do it without me.’
Rage
Now Peter Stefanoivc has made a film that looks into the more sinister side of leaving the EHRC.
He shared his new video and wrote: “Rishi Sunak wanting the UK to join Russia & Belarus outside of the European Convention on Human Rights should put the country in a state of shock – If you watch just one thing today make it this I make no excuses for my rage.”
