Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has come under fire for a video supporting unions he shared this week.
It comes as he has also confirmed Jeremy Corbyn will not be a Labour candidate at the next general election
Corbyn was suspended from being a Labour MP and sits as an independent.
The former Labour leader hoped to be readmitted, to the party, so he could stand for re-election as a Labour candidate.
But Starmer said the party had changed under his leadership and “we are not going back.”
Momentum said: “It should be for Labour members in Islington North to decide their candidate – that is their democratic right.
Unions
He shared a video this week that has got some peoples’ backs up.
He shared the video and wrote: “During Heart Unions Week, we celebrate our trade unions and their achievements securing better rights for workers. The next Labour government will work with unions to deliver a new deal for working people.”
