The Marvels, the eagerly anticipated sequel to Captain Marvel from filmmaker Nia DaCosta, was originally scheduled to arrive in theatres in July but has now been postponed until November.
It will be a while before Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, and Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers appear together on the big screen.
However we do a poster!
The poster, which features The Marvel’s heroes in a line headed toward the stars, features the tagline, “Higher. Further. Faster. Together.”
Although we don’t know much about The Marvels yet, we do know that it picks up after the events of the Ms. Marvel television series on Disney+, in which Carol and Kamala switched places.
The issue, though, is that they were both taken aback by this.
At D23 2022, the first trailer for The Marvels was unveiled behind closed doors. A large portion of it was filmed on the SABER Space Station, which is home to Nick Fury.
More of Carol and Kamala’s power connection, which also has Monica Rambeau caught in its web, was visible in the video.
