Matt Hancock is facing a series of claims in 100,000 leaked WhatsApp messages that provide an insight into the way the UK government operated at the height of the covid pandemic.
Now lawyer and filmmaker Peter Stefanovic has created a new video looking back pandemic and Hancock’s claims.
Leaks
The leaks were sent to Isabel Oakeshott who believes it was in the “public interest”.
Whitty told Hancock in April 2020 there should be testing for “all going into care homes”, according to the messages.
Now this morning Matt Hancock has had to deny sending Isabel Oakeshott a threatening message in the early hours of yesterday morning, after he realised she had given his WhatsApp messages to the Daily Telegraph.
He said: “When I heard confused rumours of a publication late on Tuesday night, I called and messaged Isabel to ask her if she had ‘any clues’ about it, and got no response. When I then saw what she’d done, I messaged to say it was ‘a big mistake’. Nothing more.”
Video
And then there is this video…
With all this in mind, Peter Stefanovic has pulled apart Hancock’s claims.
He shared the video and wrote: “Now is a good time to take a look at claims made by Matt Hancock and Boris Johnson that they were not told about the asymptomatic transmission of covid – watch in disbelief.”
