This is the second half of a £650 payment made to recipients of benefits such as Child Tax Credit, Universal Credit, and Income Support.
The first payment was issued in July, and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) said that the sheer volume eligible people left them “staggered.”
The £324 payment, which is the second half of a £650 package for people on certain benefits, will be made between November 8 and November 23.
You maybe eligible for a payment of £650 paid in 2 lump sums of £326 and £324 if you claim any of the following:
- Universal Credit
- income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Income Support
- Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
The government said the payment will be made separately from your benefit payment.
