Former football player and current presenter Gary Neville has come out with his most damning comments yet about the current Conservative government, labelling them a ‘mafia that are destroying the country’.

Following the revelation that Liz Truss’ most recent tax cuts would disproportionately benefit the wealthiest members of society, Gary Neville slammed them as “immoral” and “madness.”
As he got ready to attend the Labour Party conference following their polling gain, the former England international had accused the PM of “taking the absolute Mickey out of us” by assisting workers at the highest end of the tax bracket while delivering substantially less to the poorest households.
