Jon Stewart, a comedian and US television show host, may have discovered a new economic strategy for Liz Truss and the Conservatives, but the rest of the UK may not be too keen about it.
Stewart participated in the Armando Iannucci and Anoosh Chakelian-hosted “Westminster Reimagined” podcast from The New Statesman.
The 59-year-old, who is most known for his time spent on The Daily Show, discussed the current political upheaval engulfing the UK when prime minister Liz Truss fired former chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng only 38 days after he assumed the position.
