The filmmaking team behind the last two Scream movies will be making a new film at Universal and they hope it will be a monster hit!
The collective known as Radio Silence has signed on to an untitled monster thriller at Universal Pictures.
The team are also behind Ready Or Not.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett will direct with Chad Villella, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt producing.
The screenplay for the film was written by Stephen Shields with Guy Busick handling revisions on the script.
Plot
Deadline revealed that the planned movie ‘provides a unique take on legendary monster lore and will represent a fresh, new direction for how to celebrate classic characters.’
‘Scream’ Star Melissa Barrera is likely to return for the upcoming film.
They are not part of a shared interconnected universe, which allows each film to stand on its own, but could this be the start of one?
The project does not yet have a release date, but the excitement is already rising as you can see from these reactions.
