Deputy PM Dominic Raab has resigned after an official report into bullying allegations found he had acted in an “intimidating” manner towards civil servants.
He then wrote a Telegraph article to moan about it…
Raab’s defence
Tory MP Joy Morrissey responded to it by writing: “Sadly, we now live in a country where the definition of bullying includes telling someone to do their job. Where the slightest upset or annoyance is indulged with endless reports and inquiries.”
She followed up with: “Where whining, taking offence and narcissistic victimhood have become the defining characteristics of our times – as the uncomplaining and silent majority look on in disbelief…”
In response this tweet might chime with you. Otto English wrote: “I find it quite extraordinary that a Member of Parliament should deem it appropriate to tweet this.”
