Jacob Rees-Mogg had a tough time dealing with Marina Purkiss, and it left the Moggster is all sorts of trouble, but Laurence Fox stuck up for him on Twitter, bless him.
The heated discussion was during Jacob Rees-Mogg’s State of the Nation show on GB News.
Marina Purkiss was allegedly invited onto the show to discuss ‘woke’ policies, but it didn’t go that way!
She said: “You’re drawing attention to these things that actually don’t impact people’s lives and the reason you’re doing that is because if you don’t people might just focus on the real grievances in their life which are basically caused by your government.
“Just ask your viewers to think about what really impacts their life, is it Roald Dahl being rewritten? Is it the renaming of a street? Is it some woke policy? Or is it the concern that they are going to be waiting for an ambulance and dying? Is it the concern that their children are getting a poor education? Is it that we have got the highest energy bills on the planet?” She later added: “How are your anti-woke policies going to help restore the economy?
Laurence Fox saw the clip and wrote: “It’s like having a final drink with a passive aggressive, soon to be ex girlfriend.”
So was Marina going to take that?
Of course not, she tweeted: “Not in your wildest dreams, bellend…”
