Although The Batman 2 won’t take place in the main timeline of the DC Universe, it is still going to happen, and we now have further information on Matt Reeves’ follow-up, including the release date.
Pattinson and Matt Reeves will return for the sequel, which will be titled The Batman Part II, according to a statement from DC Studios co-head James Gunn. On October 3, 2025, it will be made available for purchase.
Although Robert Pattinson is going to reprise his role as the eponymous Dark Knight, little is known about the sequel to The Batman’s plot as of yet.
Since the Joker and the Riddler were both left alive in Arkham in the first movie, it’s possible that one or both of these recognisable foes may make an appearance.
