It comes as Oppenheimer’ tops worldwide chart for first time – boosted by Italian opening.
Barbie has beaten the nuclear bomb film in every week since they both opened in July.
However, between August 25th-27th it took over from Barbie.
Oppenheimer took in 30.1m dollars while Barbie followed with 35.3 billion dollars.
However, overall Barbie is still the biggest film. In total the film has made 1.34 billion dollars while Oppenheimer has made 777.2 billion dollars.
What we can agree on is they are both hugely successful films!

A woman named Barbara “Barbie” Oppenheimer is reportedly having a tough time checking into hotels.
Barbara Oppenheimer is a retired Boston University professor and also grandmother of five from Newton, Massachusetts.
In an interview with Slate, Oppenheimer revealed that numerous people thought she was joking when she told them her name.
She recalled a confusing moment during a recent holiday, saying: “When I checked in at the hotel, I said, ‘Barbie Oppenheimer!’ The guy said, ‘Are you pulling my leg?’”
Oppenheimer noted that she “had college friends around the world texting me that weekend when [the movies] came out, with the whole schmear, you know… ‘the bomb and the bombshell’.”
“It’s pretty funny!” she said about the biggest blockbuster success of the summer. “It was a brilliant thing that they launched them together. It really brought people back into movie theaters.”
