Candy Cane Lane is the xmas comedy lined up for this festive season, with Eddie Murphy spreading mayhem and many many festive laughs.
Candy Cane Lane Plot
Eddie plays Chris who strikes a deal with an elf to win the annual Xmas home decoration award.
The elf brings the 12 days of Xmas to life, which leads to havoc in the town Chris lives in.
The screenplay is written by Kelly Younger and inspired by his childhood experiences on Candy Cane Lane in El Segundo.
Director by Reginald Hudlin said: âI canât wait for the world to see âCandy Cane Lane.’
âIâve wanted to make a Christmas movie my whole life, but I wanted to do something fresh and surprising. Eddie Murphy and this hilarious cast really bring the funny, itâs super Christmas-y, and it will hit you right in the feels.â

Also added to the cast is Thaddeus J. Mixson, Ken Marino, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, D.C. Young Fly, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes and Nancy Lenehan.
Release date
Directed by Reginald Hudlin and written by Kelly Younger, the holiday comedy is set to debut globally Dec. 1 on Prime Video.
