Chronicles of Narnia reboot is coming and there is a Barbie link.
Don’t worry Barbie won’t be featuring, but it will be directed by Greta Gerwig.
Gerwig will be bringing the magical wardrobe and a mystical land to life.
She will be the creative mind behind two Chronicles of Narnia movies for Netflix.

Greta has the huge task of taking on C.S. Lewis’ much-loved fantasy series the Chronicles of Narnia.
One example is Saoirse Ronan who delivered an Oscar-nominated performance in her feature debut Lady Bird.
There have been no rumours of who might be acting in the features, but she has a strong eye for choosing the right talent to lead her features.
Ted Sarandos, who’s now the co-CEO of Netflix, said: “C.S. Lewis’s beloved Chronicles of Narnia stories have resonated with generations of readers around the world,” adding, “Families have fallen in love with characters like Aslan and the entire world of Narnia, and we’re thrilled to be their home for years to come,” reports What’s on Netflix.
“It is wonderful to know that folks from all over are looking forward to seeing more of Narnia, and that the advances in production and distribution technology have made it possible for us to make Narnian adventures come to life all over the world,” said Douglas Gresham, stepson of C.S. “The Chronicles of Narnia” is a popular series of seven fantasy novels written by British author C.S. Lewis.
The series is known for its rich and imaginative world, Christian allegorical themes, and timeless appeal to readers of all ages.
The books were published in the following order:
“The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” (1950): This is the second book in the series but is often considered the starting point for readers. “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” (1952): This book follows the adventures of King Caspian and his crew as they sail to the eastern edge of Narnia in search of lost friends and magical realms.
“The Magician’s Nephew” (1955): This prequel reveals the origins of Narnia and explores the creation of the land, the introduction of evil into the world, and the origins of the magical wardrobe.
“The Last Battle” (1956): This final book in the series depicts the apocalyptic end of Narnia as it is consumed by darkness and chaos. It brings the series to a conclusion with a powerful and allegorical message.
