Elon Musk has Netflix users is stitches after the Tesla founder, and now X owner, got angry about a scene about his cars in the new film Leave the World Behind.
It comes as Elon Musk vowed to never allow conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on X again. Here’s why he let him return.
Elon Musk Netlfix
One person who has seemingly didn’t watch the film is Musk himself.
Elon replied to a clip, posted by Netflix, to point out what he believes to be a plot inaccuracy.
During the movie, a married couple – played by Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke – are chased by driverless Teslas. They end up crashing into each other, causing a massive pile-up in the road.
The Teslas have lost and Elon wasn’t happy!
In response to the clip, Musk wrote on X: “Teslas can charge from solar panels even if the world goes fully Mad Max and there is no more gasoline!”
Musk was trying to highlight that his cars could survive an electric-free apocalyptic situation, big call, but this also highlights it seems he hasn’t seen the film.
Leave the World Behind
In Leave the World Behind, these Teslas drive just fine – but they have been hacked to chase folk around.
I guess that’s a separate worry we will get to that another time!
“This guy didn’t watch the movie,” one viewer claimed.
Another person said: “Elon should rewatch the movie.”
“Best thing about Leave the World Behind is it triggered Elon,” one person purred.
Writer-director Sam Esmail also shared Musk’s post, writing: “My movie LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND is now streaming on Netflix.”
