Final Destination 6 is coming and fans of the horror franchise will be looking forward to characters avoiding death…but for how long?!
As we know the Final Destination film series is a popular horror franchise that began in 2000 with the release of the first film, simply titled Final Destination.
The series is known for its unique premise, in which characters experience premonitions of deadly accidents and then try to evade death’s plans, only to face elaborate and often gruesome deaths in the order they were originally meant to die.
Final Destination 6
The new instalment will be called Final Destination 6: Bloodlines.
It will begin production once the ongoing actors’ strike concludes.
It’s being produced by New Line Cinema, as were all the previous Final Destination films.
Plot
Final Destination 6 will break tradition by focusing on First Responders instead of high schoolers, adding a fresh twist to the franchise’s formula.
Franchise veteran Tony Dodd will return as William Bludwort.
Freaks co-directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein will be the directors of Final Destination 6
It is possible the film will hit the screens at the end of 2024, but the writers’ strike is making all predictions for movie production a bit of a shot in the dark.
