Liam Cunningham has sent a plea to Game of Thrones spin-off makers saying: ‘Better Call Davos.’
Den of Geek reported that Cunningham said; “I did send [Kit Harrington] a text saying, ‘Better Call Davos,’”
A nod to Breaking Bad spin off series Better Call Saul.
Liam was then asked if he was interested in appearing in Snow.
He replied: “I haven’t heard anything back.”
Cunningham then joked, “I wish them the best to whoever’s involved in it, and if the check is big enough, I might even show up again!”

Cunningham then talked about the legacy of Game of Thrones, “I think Game of Thrones is one of those things that after each decade, people are going to discover as if the previous decade had forgotten it. I think it’s going to be rediscovered. I think it’s a bit like Dracula. Dracula gets rediscovered and reinterpreted every few years. The original Game of Thrones was a phenomenon. Nobody could have predicted that it would turn into some kind of cultural phenomenon, and they’re very, very difficult to design. You build it, and they come or they don’t come. In that case, they came in droves.”
The HBO fantasy series concluded with Kit Harrington’s Jon Snow declining the Iron Throne and being exiled to live beyond the wall with The Wildlings.
What we know about Snow
The first issue is, will it even happen?!
HBO’s head of drama Francesca Orsi said: “We’re just working deeply with the writers to get it in shape for potential greenlight, but at this point, no, no determination on whether it can go all the way.”
Discussing potential plot lines of the show at a Game Of Thrones convention last year, Harington said: “I think if you asked him, he would’ve felt he got off lightly,” adding of his character: “At the end of the show when we find him in that cell, he’s preparing to be beheaded and he wants to be. He’s done. The fact he goes to the Wall is the greatest gift and also the greatest curse.
“He’s gotta go back up to the place with all this history and live out his life thinking about how he killed Dany, and live out his life thinking about Ygritte dying in his arms, and live out his life thinking about how he hung Olly, and live out his life thinking about all of this trauma, and that, that’s interesting.”
