Mary had a little lamb trailer is truly scary. It is a new film in a line of cute family films/cartoons made into horror films.
Why?
We don’t know, but it seems to be a hit with horror movie fans looking for a new slant on the genre.
Nursery rhyme
The phrase “Mary had a little lamb” is the opening line of a well-known nursery rhyme.
Here’s the full rhyme:
**Mary had a little lamb, Little lamb, little lamb, Mary had a little lamb, Its fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went, Mary went, Mary went, Everywhere that Mary went, The lamb was sure to go.**
This nursery rhyme has been a popular children’s poem and song for generations. It was first published in 1830 by Sarah Josepha Hale and is based on a true story about a girl named Mary Sawyer and her pet lamb. The rhyme has become a classic and is often used as an introduction to poetry for young children.
Mary Had a Little Lamb
The film is directed by VFX artist and animator Jason Arber.
‘This new horror ‘interpretation’ follows true crime podcast host Carla, who ventures deep into some woods to pursue a missing persons case,’ reports Far Out Magazine.
Carla then stumbles upon a spooky house owned by a woman named Mary.
Mary’s ‘lamb’ is in-fact a horrific sheep/human hybrid.
Maybe the lunatic is actually an axe-wielding maniac wearing a lamb’s head costume.
Watch the film to find out. OIt will be released digitally and on DVD on October 3rd.
