Millie Bobby Brown
Brown has said that Stranger Things is ‘preventing’ her from moving on to projects she’s ‘passionate’ about and is ready to say goodbye to the much-loved show.
Speaking to Glamour magazine, she said: ‘When you’re ready, you’re like, “All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here”.’
Millie said: ‘Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, “Thank you, and goodbye”.
Millie has made similar comments before, telling Seventeen in March: “I’m definitely ready to wrap up. I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now, and we know of it, it’s been in our lives for a very long time.
‘But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up. I’m able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture. But I’m really grateful [for the show].’
Stranger Things History
The series combines elements of supernatural horror, government conspiracies, and 1980s pop culture references. The plot revolves around the mysterious disappearance of a young boy named Will Byers and the supernatural events that follow. His friends embark on a quest to find him, encountering a girl with psychokinetic abilities who goes by the name Eleven.
“Stranger Things” is known for its nostalgic references to 1980s movies, TV shows, and video games. It pays homage to the works of Stephen King, Steven Spielberg, and other iconic creators of the era. The show’s cast includes young actors like Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, and Gaten Matarazzo, as well as established actors like Winona Ryder and David Harbour.
The series has multiple seasons, with each one expanding on the mysteries of the Upside Down, a parallel dimension filled with supernatural threats. The show’s blend of supernatural elements and its strong character development has made it a critical and commercial success. It has received numerous awards and nominations and has a dedicated fan base.
