Denzel Washington’s Role in Black Panther 3
Speaking to Today Show Australia, Washington discussed his selective approach to projects in recent years. “At this stage in my career, I only want to work with the best filmmakers,” he said. Washington hinted that his upcoming roles are likely to be among his last, adding, “Ryan Coogler is writing a part for me in the next Black Panther. After that, I’ll do Othello, King Lear, and then I’m done.”

Released in 2018, Black Panther became an iconic entry in the MCU, starring the late Chadwick Boseman in the title role. It featured an ensemble cast, including Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, and Letitia Wright. Following Boseman’s passing, Marvel released Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022, which saw the cast reprise their roles and paid tribute to Boseman’s legacy.

He will play Macrinus, alongside a cast that includes Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, and Connie Nielsen.
