Will Art the Clown be back for more? Here’s what we know about the potential return of Terrifier.
Is Terrifier 4 Happening?
Though not officially confirmed, Terrifier 4 seems likely. After the world premiere of Terrifier 3 last month, director Damien Leone hinted that another sequel is in the works. He admitted in a Q&A at Fantastic Fest, “I wasn’t supposed to announce it,” but suggested that he’s already considering how to fit everything he wants before the series finale.
While we await confirmation, the strong performance of Terrifier 3 in theatres points to a high chance of a fourth instalment.
Potential Release Date for Terrifier 4
Without an official announcement, we don’t have a release date yet. However, past releases give us some clues. The gap between Terrifier 2 (October 2022) and Terrifier 3 (October 2024) suggests a similar timeline. This could mean Terrifier 4 might arrive by Halloween 2026.
If production starts in early 2025, we could even see an October 2025 release, though this is speculative. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
How Terrifier 3 Sets Up Terrifier 4
As expected, Terrifier 3 saw Art the Clown continue his terrifying spree. This time, Vicky also joins the chaos, now possessed by a demonic force linked to the Little Pale Girl from the second film. This demon seems determined to control Sienna, the one person who can stop it and Art. Sienna’s unique abilities—including a magical sword—hint at a powerful showdown in the future.
The climax of Terrifier 3 is intense. Art and Vicky take Sienna and her aunt Jessica hostage, intending to break Sienna’s will. Despite brutal injuries, Sienna finds strength and manages to decapitate Vicky. However, a portal to what seems like hell opens, swallowing her cousin Gabbie. Art manages to escape once again, while Sienna vows to find Gabbie, setting up plenty of unanswered questions for the next film.
What to Expect from the Cast of Terrifier 4
If Terrifier 4 happens, we can expect David Howard Thornton to return as the seemingly immortal Art the Clown. Lauren LaVera, who plays the resilient Sienna Shaw, will likely be back too. Sienna’s brother Jonathan, played by Elliott Fullam, may also appear despite his possible death in Terrifier 3, given the series’ tendency to defy the usual rules of mortality.
It’s possible we’ll see Samantha Scaffidi’s Vicky again, as her character remains entangled in the dark world of Terrifier. Given the unpredictable nature of the series, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for official cast announcements.
Is There a Trailer for Terrifier 4?
Unfortunately, there’s no trailer yet for Terrifier 4, as filming hasn’t started. However, with anticipation high, fans can expect teasers as soon as production begins.
