At the D23 Brasil event, Disney confirmed that Shakira will reprise her role as Gazelle, the famous pop star in Zootopia 2.
The original Zootopia was a major success, earning over a billion dollars at the box office and gaining critical acclaim. With a hit film and a successful spin-off show, excitement for the sequel has been building. Although details are still emerging, Disney recently revealed Shakira’s return in a short video shown to D23 attendees and later shared on social media. Fans can expect more updates closer to the release, following a marketing strategy similar to Moana 2 this year.
