Snow White story – Spoilers alert!!!
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is one of Disney’s most iconic animated films. It was released in 1937 and is often considered the first full-length animated feature film. The film is based on the German fairy tale “Schneewittchen” by the Brothers Grimm.
Here’s a brief summary of the story:
The film tells the story of Snow White, a beautiful princess who becomes the target of her jealous stepmother, the Evil Queen. The Evil Queen is envious of Snow White’s beauty and orders a huntsman to take Snow White into the forest and kill her. However, the huntsman cannot bring himself to do it and lets Snow White escape.
Lost in the forest, Snow White comes across a cottage belonging to seven dwarfs: Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. They allow her to stay with them, and she takes on the role of their housekeeper.
Meanwhile, the Evil Queen discovers that Snow White is still alive and decides to take matters into her own hands. She transforms into a wicked witch and offers Snow White a poisoned apple. Snow White takes a bite of the apple and falls into a deep sleep, which can only be broken by “love’s first kiss.”
The dwarfs, along with the help of forest animals, manage to defeat the Evil Queen and save Snow White. A prince arrives, and with a kiss of true love, Snow White is awakened from her slumber. The film ends with Snow White and the prince riding off to the castle for their happily ever after.
