What’s in Store for Dexter: Original Sin?
Set in 1991 Miami, Dexter: Original Sin follows a young Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he struggles to control his bloodlust. When his murderous urges become too overwhelming, Dexter learns to channel his darkness with guidance from his father, Harry (Christian Slater). Together, they create a Code designed to eliminate those Dexter believes deserve to die, all while avoiding detection from the police. This proves difficult for young Dexter as he starts a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.

The prequel series features a strong ensemble cast, including Molly Brown, Christina Milian, James Martinez, Alex Shimizu, and Reno Wilson. Special guest stars include Sarah Michelle Gellar and Patrick Dempsey. Michael C. Hall returns to voice the iconic inner monologue that has defined Dexter’s character throughout the series.
