Back in August 2022 Rishi Sunak had to be shown how to use his contactless card after a petrol station gaffe.
The embarrassing exchange took place in March as the Tory MP promoted a 5pm fuel duty cut.

At the time one exasperated social media user wrote ‘Chancellor of the exchequer doesn’t know how to use contactless – my head’s gone.’
‘Rishi Sunak has never been shopping,’ another decided.
What now?
Now Rishi Sunak is being ridiculed on social media after he posted a tweet praising “innovation” – by sharing a QR code to Twitter.
It seems he isn’t a man of the people or a man of technology…
A huge majority of Twitter users, access the platform it via smartphone.
So how they would scan this QR code has attracted a lot of comments!
