Music legend Bob Geldof has slammed both Donald Trump and Elon Musk for their antics since Trump was inaugurated back into the Oval Office just under two months ago.
It comes as Delaware Senator Chris Coons, a Democrat, has been speaking about Trump’s the trade war.
“I think we are heading towards a recession because of Trump’s on again, off again, let’s hit all of our allies, let’s tariff everything that comes into the United States approach,” Coons said.
“He is driving a wedge between the United States and our closest allies and trading partners.
“My state of Delaware exports more to Canada than any other place in the world and imports more from Canada than any other place in the world. And the on again off, again double-digit massive tariffs… is creating chaos in the markets.”

The Irish musical icon, who has dedicated his life to charity work and philanthropy, has never been one to shy away from the world of politics, has turned his attention to Musk and Trump.
Bob Geldof was speaking on Australia’s The Project, when he made the comments.

He said: “I think creeps like Trump and Musk have sucked the generosity out of the air. The most powerful man on the planet and the richest man in the world have decided to take away any of the life support systems of the poorest children on the planet, quite literally take the last bit of food from their mouth. Quite literally take the bandage off the gang-raped woman. Quite literally stop 5 million AIDS sufferers getting treatment, so they will die in the next couple of weeks.”
When asked if he was referring to the USAID cuts, he continued: “This is Trump and Musk and all those other creeps. I of course get angry, angry is my defaul mechanism, but it has served me well.”
