A Brexiter’s comment on a ‘remoaners’ speech, has got people talking, to say the least.
It began with Wera Hobhouse MP who tweeted a video and wrote: “Nearly 70% of Bath voted to Remain, and so many of us continue to feel a deep sense of loss. An inquiry into the impact of Brexit would help the Government face up to reality. And the reality is – Brexit will leave a larger scar on our economy than the pandemic.”
The speech went down well with some…

Brexiter’s / Remoaners
One person who REALLY didn’t like her comment was Martin Daubney “Journalist for 28 years. MEP who voted the UK out the EU. Do some presenting on GB News,’ as his Twitter bio Twitter reads.
He responded with this tweet: “The problem with Remoaners is that nobody ever taught them to lose. A life of entitlement does that to you I’m sure if Leavers had lost we’d have moaned for a day or two, then just got on with our lives.”

Ditch laws?
He won’t like this! The news today is that the government is to ditch plans to scrap up to 4,000 EU laws by the end of the year after a private meeting with Brexiter MPs.
It now aims to remove 800 statutes and regulations instead of 3,700 laws it had lined up for a bonfire of EU law in December.
The plan was to ditch everything from passenger rights to compensation for cancelled flights, to equality employment law and environmental standards and protections.
