A Conservative by-election candidate has left many people fuming after suggested parents who are struggling to feed their kids as they are not in employment should “f*** off”, reports The Mirror.
He is standing after the previous MP had to quit in a sleaze scandal.
HS2
This shocking news comes as Rishi Sunak has been slammed for the decision to cancel the northern leg of HS2.
Sir John Armitt, the chair of the NIC (National Infrastructure Commission) was “deeply disappointing” and “leaves a major gap in the UK’s rail strategy”.
Armitt said it would result in an “overload” of the west coast mainline, or encourage more people and freight on to the roads.
He added: “The good news is that modern, reliable infrastructure can support economic growth, help tackle climate change and enhance the natural environment.
“People often talk about infrastructure as the backbone of our economy: what our infrastructure needs now is the collective mettle to turn commitments into action that will reap rewards for decades to come.”
Conservative candidate
Andrew Cooper, the tory candidate in the upcoming Tamworth byelection, in 2020 posted on Facebook a diagram drawn in pen on a piece of paper asking the question: “Can you feed your kids?”
It said that those who have subscriptions for TV services such as Sky, have £30-a-month mobile phone contracts or get their nails done should “f*** off”.
Also, the diagram suggested that parents who do none of these but do not work should also “f*** off”.
One person shared the post, which is not verified, and wrote: “This is the type of response anyone stupid enough to vote for the Tory candidate, Andrew Cooper in the Tamworth by-election can expect. He’ll be responsible for looking out for the needs of the town’s kids currently living in poverty. What a total little sh1t he is, eh?”
His explanation doesn’t make it any better…
