Jonathan Pie’s NSFW Covid take has chimed with many people as the inquiry has seen some explosive details and claims have been made.
One of the main issues is the claim that Boris Johnson was “bamboozled” by the science during the pandemic and had to have details explained to him “repeatedly.”

Sir Patrick Vallance told the inquiry the health messages had been “very clear”, that mixing with people you weren’t living with in an enclosed environment was a “high-risk activity”.
“That policy [Eat Out to Help Out] completely reversed it to saying we will pay you to go into an environment with people from other households and mix in an indoor environment for periods extended over a couple of hours or more.”
Rishi Sunak said he “did not recall” any concerns about the scheme, including from Sir Chris and Sir Patrick.
