Elon Musk’s vision of sending a million people to Mars by 2050 has made headlines for years, but his daughter isn’t buying it. Vivian Wilson, 20, didn’t hold back when discussing her dad’s Mars dreams during a live stream with Hasan Piker.
🧐 “It’s Not Happening”
When asked about Musk’s plan to colonize Mars, Wilson didn’t mince her words. “It’s a marketing scheme,” she said, adding, “It’s not happening, people.” She didn’t stop there, calling out the whole idea as something “everyone somehow fell for,” despite being easily debunked with a “Google search.”
🚗 The Yelling CEO
Wilson also shared a glimpse of what it was like growing up with Musk, revealing that she often witnessed him “yelling at employees in the car.” She recalled, “We watched, horrified, like viscerally screaming.” Seems like the Musk household might not have been all about high-tech innovation and family bonding.
🌍 “US Owns Mars?”
In a final jab, Wilson pointed out that Musk seems to think the US would own Mars if he ever pulls off his ambitious plans. One person on social media responded, joking, “If Greenland or Alberta don’t come around, I guess Mars will be 51.”
Wilson clearly doesn’t share her father’s enthusiasm for colonising Mars, and she isn’t shy about calling it out.
Now, Vivian Wilson, 20, Musk’s daughter appeared on the live stream of Hasan Piker and spoke at length about Musk’s behavior during her childhood.
She also gave her opinion on her father’s objective of colonizing Mars, to which she called it a ‘marketing scheme.’
‘It’s not happening, people,’ she added.
She said: ‘It’s a marketing scheme that everyone somehow fell for despite being debunked by a f****** Google search.’
When asked about what he is like on any given workday, Wilson said: ‘Most of the time I saw him working he was just yelling at employees in the car while we watched, horrified, like viscerally screaming.’
US owns Mars?
Oh, and he thinks it will be owned by the US if he does make it…
In response, one person wrote: “If Greenland or Alberta don’t come around I guess mars will be 51.”
